- RCRobert CApr 27, 20264.0Pretty standard Premier Inn with decent sized rooms. Whitbread have sold off the now "pub" next door which means they converted a few former bedrooms into a breakfast area which is quite small. We followed the guidance and went at a quieter time (9am) and had no problems with food availability. The location worked for us, but it's a little awkward from the M4 as it's not near either of the exists. Staff are superb here and really do make you feel welcome.
- RSRod ShawApr 24, 20262.0Probably the dirtiest wethespoons I have been to. Good food and drink at good prices, as always, but slow for time of day. But we are at 2pm, breakfast finishes at 12 and the tables were not cleared. We could not find a clean table. Not the best.
- FFFoodieApr 21, 20261.0Keria and Lizzie dint give a warm welcome they were whispering between themselves during our check in. I requested two upstairs rooms which they explained the bed wasn't made in one of them. I explained we were leaving for dinner and they agreed to make it whilst we were out. We came back to the bed not being made. We spoke to Keria on reception who said it would be over an hour before she could make it due to her completing admin work. I explained were getting ready for bed and this would not be suitable. She said Admin work came before making the bed. I was too tired to question this so asked for the bedding, she directed me as to where I could find the pillow and duvet. Myself and family ended up making the bed ourselves. This is not something I expect to have to do when I have paid for the hotel. The bathroom sink plug hole smelt. The free wifi didn't work so you had to purchase the ultra wifi at £5.00 The breakfast room was out of use.
